The jail officials switched my medication

While I was in jail, the jail officials switched my medication for HIV. When this happened, I became very sick and lost all of my hair and started getting migraines.
Do I have a case against the State of California for switching my medication?

The jail does have a responsibility to give you the correct medication. Please read this previous forum post concerning medication errors in jail. If you can prove that the jail was negligent, then you have a case.
