Can I take Safeway to small claims court?

I slip and fell in a Safeway store. Can I take them to small claim court or do I have to get a lawyer?

If you are confident that you can thoughtfully prepare a case, then yes, you could pursue a case in small claims court. I would recommend speaking to a lawyer, just to cover all of your bases. Just make sure that you know how to proceed. Please review what you need to know to file a personal injury claim.
